Has anyone here lived in or currently live in a mobile home..off grid with solar powered electricity?

If so can you give some advice on how it works? and roughly what it would cost to set up?
Can it power everything, cooker, fridge, TV, heaters etc?

    Thanks

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

How long is a piece of string? You can buy one solar panel, connect it to an old car battery with a cheap Chinese charge controller and then hook up some LED lights. Will work all year round. Total cost maybe €100

Or you can setup a big system that will power almost all your needs (but not heating) most of the year round with lithium batteries. Total cost maybe €10,000. This will still leave you without power if you have some bad days in a row in winter...
