Vunipola never released either. French ref, free for all at breakdown. We've got to get in on the action

Looks like they tried but he decided to ping it that time.

James Ryan is having a nightmare, lots of mistakes and once again showing he can't call a lineout at international level.

    ???

Park was not a tackler there, harsh

Penalty count against Ireland again creeping up. Something happening a lot under Farrell’s tenure.

We've stopped kicking and England are back to the rush defence.

We definitely haven't got to grips with how the ref is reffing. Need to adapt to that.

    Thick from Ryan

Gauzere is riding up with these penalty calls

Identical to the turnover on Keenan, consistency is all we ask for

Did Earls look to pass there when he was clear?

He hesitated a bit. And the chance seemed to vanish. Did well to make the break though.

We should know by now. He has reffed these players often enough

Another stupid mistake by James Ryan.

Lol I fooled myself into thinking England could lose a lineout in our 22, not a chance.

    Terrific by PoM there

POM with world class ball retention with his knees to turn that over.

Ref needs to p1ss off telling Lowe off for celebrating that.

Great word defending that maul by POM

Given how scrappy and error prone Ireland have been. 12-0 at half time wouldn't be the end of the world.

Not a huge fan of Lowe, the the ref can f off telling him he cant rush over and congratulate his teammates.

It was rubbish phase play. It took a moment of magic from Earls.

17 phases for no gain. We were getting smashed in every tackle.

We weren't tho. Getting hit back in tackle and then the next phase getting over the gain line. We started from halfway and Earls made his break on the 10 metre alone. England are a hugely impressive defensive unit, but we kept possession for a lot of time and manufactured a break against them.

Could we ban French refs entirely?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,438 ✭✭✭kuang1

Thought I saw Henderson ready to come on there a few minutes ago... Didn't think Ryan or Roux were getting treatment... Anyone shed any light?

Ref is dead right. All that celebrating of loads of small things is needless.
