GW9 Captain?

FPL is back after the international break.

The 1st of 8 GW's in the FPL between now and the end of December.

Most important Q this week, who's your captain?

Currently on Grealish as a punt. Could be a good GW to do it.

Although looking at Salah out, Fernandes in. If I do that, I'll captain Bruno.

I personally wouldn’t categorize grealish as a punt.
I transferred in Bruno for Son and have him vc and grealish captain at the moment. Still might switch them though.

Yeah you're right, wrong terminology.

Captaining Bruno over Grealish feels 'safer' but not sure why. Grealish as good as anyone in his form.

I'm thinking DCL. Fulham have let in the 2nd highest amount, and look very dodgy at the back.

Otherwise, i'd say Fernandes if i swap him in for Salah.

I was as well, but grealish played internationals. Brighton also not that bad defensively. Villa little hot and cold too. Vardy hasn't played, well rested and should manage to do something against the pool. That's my gut feeling at the moment. Hoping not to bottle it and put it on Bruno.

It most definitely is not risky. Grealish is a great choice!

This is one of those GW’s to take a chance on someone not highly captained

On Ziyech at the moment. 3 assists and a goal in his last two games (25 points), goal and assist for Morocco midweek too. Surprised to see no love for him on the poll.

I may chicken out.

Still on Vardy but have a feeling Liverpool’s defence won’t be as leaky as we think. A back 4 of Robertson Matip Williams Milner isn’t the worst, especially with Williams impressing.

With all that being said, DCL is a bit unconvincing too so swaying towards Vardy.

Agree but feels like a week for a punt like this. I have Bruno but I don't fancy it against WBA who could sit in.

Only concern with Grealish is that he started 3 games for England over the break. I'd be slightly worried about fatigue

Yeah can’t argue with that.

A lot being said about a few injured players (Rashford) only training with the team once.

Fernandes really is the safe option!

Reluctantly have the armband on my newly acquired Bruno.....had a decent week last time out so don't want to undo that progress.

Deffo a week for shield rather than sword imho
