Axa advertising on radio lately for farm insurance. Might be worth a try. I plan to try them at my next renewal.

Switched from Fbd to Zurich three years ago, changed to Axa this year, nice saving even on Zurich and their policy is similar to Fbd’s

FBD seem to of hike there prices alot in recent times. Must be loads of money in farm insurance when you see AXA offering farm insurance.
I went to AXA a few years back and all they only able to take on was the tractor & not farm .

Axa, found them competitive and easy to deal with. The real test will come when a claim is made...

Switched from Fbd to Zurich. Fbd were always good to pay out for a claim. Switched because a local fella who was a manager with Fbd left for Zurich. I'll try AXA at renewal time. The AXA manager left and because the fbd manager when the fbd manager left for Zurich

They are literally up to the wall dealing with the phone lines. If you are really interested in getting a quote ring them. All the operators are courteous and helpful.

Might take a little time no longer than other companies and it might be most profitable hour (most likely won't take that long) you spent that day

Got my quote out from Zurich it was about 1600 euro. AXA beat it by about 150 euro. Much the same policy rose a few of the insurance values. Own home, rented farm house, cattle shed, hay shed two tractors meal bin, and cattle box cattle and employed labour

    Now it is the opposite.
They will only provide Tractor insurance if you take out Farm Insurance with them.

Sur why not leave out one of houses and one of the sheds too and keep it down another bit.

I have lely lotus, bogballe shaker, mower, slurry tank, IW trailer, power washer all fully comprehensive on policy for circa €150. Well worth it.

I do not have any of the above except or a 8' disc worth about 2-3K and a powerwasher. The IW trailer is on it. I insure the risk that I cannot afford/do not want to carry myself.

The reason i put up the quote is to get an idea whether its ball park or what sort of quotes lads are getting.

Toyota Rav is up next month so be shopping around for that. Quote came today by email for its for 550 euro approx.

Toyota RAV. Original quote through AA was over 500 euro. Got insured by Aviva for 380 euro. Better half is named on policy she has her own car. Fully comp, full NCB protection and they give breakdown as well.

    Very happy with that
