I’m out of work at the min with no access to my emails, so can’t check the eligibility criteria for this.

Does anyone know how long you have to be serving in your current post to be eligible?

I’ve just passed my probation in September and I know some competitions required 2 years service...

Do you mean AGS? I'm in not with them myself but do know that internal competitions are subject to DPER guidelines which set the minimum service at 2 years....not that I approve!

    Yeah sorry, typo, meant AGS.

Thanks, I was pretty sure it’s 2 years too.

    Oh well, always next time

It's generally two years service in total, so if you were already a serving civil servant before your probation and your total service meets the criteria, i.e. two years or more, you can apply.
