Clocking question

Looking at a car from a garage and says 60km on the clock, the previous service history just says 60000 also, no miles or km. Did a check on done deal and it’s saying 60000 miles. Is that likely just an error with the report?

What does the service history say?

It just says the mileage number and the date. So every year it builds up a little bit and the most recent one was around 60000 but it never says whether it’s miles or KM on the service history, just the mileage number

What dates are the service intervals, does it have NCT certificates? Did you do a history check on it? Maybe ring the garages that serviced it and ask them about what was done and if the mileage matches. You may need to join the dots to get a clearer indication if it was just an error or if there is something more sinister there.

if the odometer is in km then they wrote the km they didnt convert to miles

the 60000 miles is from some dope entering it wrong whats the nct situation ? ever had one or too new?

Service dates are every year from 2015. One NCT in 2019 but don’t have the certificate.

That’s a good point though with the mileage number on the service history, dunno who would go out of their way to convert it rather than reading off the clock. Likely just an error of some sorts on the report I did though not too sure if that’s common
