Mortgage requirements with remote work

    Hello,

I am looking to move from the UK to Ireland and would like to buy my first home. I have money saved for a deposit and my work is fully remote.

How long would I need to live in Ireland before applying for a mortgage? Do I need a job with an Irish company or is it fine to be employed by a non-Irish company, so long as I am an Irish tax resident?

    Thank you!
