How many people get insurance? I'm just wondering as I'm about to enter a new contract and it doesn't seem they offer insurance. The last place I had a phone they offered insurance for a few quid a month. What do people do.

Put a case on it and look after it. Cheaper in the long run and not that hard. I've never broken any of my phones over the years.

A case isnt gonna stop the phone from being robbed.

You could start a personal insurance account for yourself. Put 10% of the cost of valuable items into a savings account for a rainy day. Chances are only one of them will be damaged or lost over time and if not then you have a small lump sum that's in your pocket instead of the insurers. I've done that with phones, watches, laptops etc over the years. I don't need insurance for them now because I have my own fund.

No but keep it on your person where possible. Lots of companies offer phone insurance if you really want it.
