As in all the 1s.....on 11/11

Suprised this is in their latest catalogue as is hardly essential, then again they are still selling other middle aisle ****.

    A 50' Android smart TV for €399
Airpods (are they the Apple ones) for €139

    Some other stuff too...

The AirPods are slightly cheaper from Amazon and would probably be handier to get (and return) than from Lidl: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Airpods-Charging-latest-Model/dp/B07PZR3PVB/

I saw them advertised in last weeks brochure and assumed there was no way they were going to be able to sell them due to the restrictions?
If one goes, the rest will follow so won't be long before the other supermarkets start reselling their restricted items again.

We will not be putting on sale any items that are deemed non-essential – e.g. Christmas decorations, casual clothing and toys. We are also in the process of removing from sale any residual stock of previous non-essential promotions.

We will continue to sell items that are classed as essential e.g. for upkeep of residence and businesses, safety clothing, repair and maintenance of cars and bikes etc in our middle aisles.

Hmm clear as mud me thinks.

My local Lidl hasn’t stopped selling the middle aisle gear at all since lockdown and neither have Aldi

They still have plenty of stuff in the middle aisles but most of it can be thought of as "essential" items e.g. home maintenance, office stuff, etc. Their leaflets had promised loads more stuff that hasn't been on sale as deemed "non essential".

I would say it’s about right for what it is. Sharp is a makey-uppey brand nowadays.

You can get an LG 50” for €439 elsewhere.

I can't see any information about those products online.
Are they not advertising them so as to fly under the radar or something?

Anyone have a link for more details?

Much cheaper paying in GBP for most models, pay using a Revolut card to get best rate.
It's around an extra 10% discount off the Euro price.

Slightly off topic but how the **** is a soundbar essential when other stuff has been pulled from selling?

Anyone pick up the soundbar? Any good?

None of the electronics were on display in my local Lidl today, in the baskets where they were supposed to be were signs saying “ask at checkout”. They had plenty supplies of the AirPods and soundbars and I say 4 TV’s on a pallet also. That was after lunch in one of the Waterford stores.

Nothing from Lidl has been withdrawn from the middle aisles so it’s the same as normal

Some stuff has as a lot of the 'cages' of stock have been removed leaving big gaps. There's also a link on their website of what's been withdrawn and what is on sale...seems to be no consistency.

Not the Sega/M2 model though, you need the Megadrive Mini.
