    Quick question.

If you have an expired yellow in the soccer forum and you get a yellow a month later, can the expired yellow be used as two yellows to get a ban? What does the expired part mean if it still can be used?

Admin: thread moved to Help Desk as you are not disputing a card/ban as yet.

The fact that cards expire is not relevant to the Soccer forum totting up process. The expiry period is not really relevant at all on this site due to the way the infractions plugin was rolled out here and its use. The expiry period is a technical limitation on the plugin package afaik that reflected an intended use where cumulative cards issued over short periods of time would automatically result in certain technical behaviour in some versions of vBulletin, the software that this site is based on.

As such, for all intents and purposes, cards issued on this site have a technical expiry but in practical effect, never expire. For a limited number of reasons, cards can be reversed but again due to technical limitations with the plugin, they still show on your profile even after reversal (albeit clearly marked as reversed.)

To preempt a further question, there is no written limitation period for appealing cards. So if, as I suspect, you believe you have a better chance appealing the card that is first in time to undo a forum ban issued for accumulating two cards within the time period given by the Soccer forum charter, you can still appeal that now and both the card and resultant ban might be overturned if you are successful.

Not at all. Not really disputing the cards and had a very good conversation with the moderator and saw the reason for one of the cards was that his hands were tied. Was simply a query and not an issue at all.

Many thanks for the quick response.
