I have some stains in the hot press from what i understand from googling is the automatic air bleeder. I presue it pushes water out with it? Some stains on the floor. I want to clean it but first how do i stop this bleed of water with that colour that is anti rust treatment I think

Shouldn't be water coming out of it. Post a pic so we can be sure of the part.

You'll need to replace it, but in the meantime you can close that brass cap to stop the leak. Just open it every couple of weeks (at first. Longer periods if no air) to see if you have air escaping. Best to do it when system is at its coolest, like morning before it's switched on or turned up.

it is expensive and can i do it myself? would it be ok to put a cloth bag over it ?

and is it ok to have it closed?

It's a cheap part, but you would need to drain down the system some before you could change it.
    is it clockwise to close?
    Yes
would it be ok to put a cloth bag over it ?
Yes, but no need if that cap seals it.

and is it ok to have it closed?
Yes, but as I said open it every now and then. Don't scald yourself.
