How has the interview process changed over the last few months?
I imagine there’s no handshake at the beginning and with mask wearing it’s much more difficult to read body language on both sides?

Yeah I work in a frontline service and had an interview over Microsoft Teams recently. It is an unusual situation when you know the service provision isn't actually affected much by the pandemic.

I'm guessing, but I would assume face to face interviews are probably easier now.

    (1) Companies are not going to want to interview a bunch of strangers (too much risk), they'd much rather limit the interviews to people they already want to hire instead of interviewing some more speculative candidates.

    (2) The mask may make you feel more confident, as you're kind of hiding your face a bit.

But as others say, it's mostly video interviews.

No in person meetings are being held. no one is going to risk that.

I've had two teams interviews. Yes there isn't the typical handshake and you don't get to see the office environment but they both went entirely fine. Nothing odd about, my nerves were actually less than they would be in person.

This is the way the world is going best get used to the old online meetings
