    Hi,
sorry If this is a silly question, but what is the purpose of putting concrete around soil pipes and Aj's. My Friends house recently had this done everywhere but it wasn't done anywhere on mine, all are surrounded by a bit of that small shale stone.
Ground guy will be back next week to finish of sewage connection and just wondering if I should be getting him to concrete things in.

    Thanks

Normally to protect then from vehicular damage if not enough depth below ground level.

Thanks, my mates AJ's were all along the side of his house, just under his concrete apron.

I saw in the QS details for my job, it call out that soil pipes should be covered in concrete ;p There's no chance of long term movement, even if they are just going through flowerbeds in the garden?

    Thanks
