Decided to change my 14 a6 for an 18 a6 after Christmas when the first of them come back after pcp hopefully there's a good selection. Would sell privately and go to UK if its a viable option in 2021, but we will wait and see. As soon as I saw it I knew I'd buy one some day and a 3 year old one will be affordable.

Only stipulations I have at the moment are S Line and tech pack to get the virtual cockpit. What else should I look out for? Thinking maybe heated steering wheel and panoramic roof.

My current car is an S Line black edition, and the options (I think they are all options anyway) on it are heated seats with lumbar support, bose sound system, xenons. Apart from that I think it's pretty standard and has everything I need and I'd want to keep these things I suppose, not sure if they are options on c8.

Would be open to the 3.0tdi too depending on cost. Diesel only as I have a fuel card for diesel with work.

I see most of the new ones are half Leather again which turns me off, my 2016 has full Leather which I like, thought about trading up before Brexit too but specs seemed to be less than my own..

Yes, I agree with you there and I prefer full leather myself which I have at the moment too.

I searched for ones with full Leather and any I found were lacking basic things like keyless entry so I gave up!

Yeah just had a look and very few c8 better specced than my own apart from the new, fantastic, interior. Some beautiful c7 2018 for sale for a lot cheaper than 2018 c8 but don't think I'd be able to spend the money on same car again, albeit with a few updates.
Anyway, I don't think the one I'll end up buying is up for sale just yet.
