    hi all,is this the right forum for this question?anyway looking for recommendations for running/walking trainers,not ones that will break the bank,im a size 8,thanks......ps. ones that will last.

    Keep an eye out for Brooks. I spent about 180 for a pair of Brooks Transcend, two years ago. Use it for walking and running. I've had terrible shin splints with other shoes but this one was ideal for me.

    Have a look at decathlon
    I use their support shoe and find them good for 35e

    I ran in asics and Brooks previously and spent up to 160e on runners before
