    Hi Guys,

Im curious what's the situation with working overtime in the Irish Construction sector as a tradesman. There seems to be quite a few positions going right now. Is the normal working week a 40 hour week?

Is hours worked after this at time and half or double time? What other benefits/perks should I be aware of?

Im sure alot of this will depend on the company you work for but I am talking about working on large projects for reputable companies like Mercury, Dornan, Kirbys on projects such as the Intel Expansion project, Childrens hospital etc which I expect would have optional overtime for those who want it.

What rates do sparks get on these good projects?
