House build as a contractor

    Hi All

    My husband has his own building company and we have got a mortgage to build our own home at last after 5 years, but anyway Im wondering do we invoice ourselves for the work or what way can We work it, what is having the building company if we cannot build it ourselves but I m worried about the tax side of things and are we allowed to do it, has anyone any experience of this senario?
