Commercial tax (yet another query)

    The other thread was locked as I was typing a responce so here goes


    I've seen a 3ltr crew cab that I'm kinda interested in

    Ad. shows annual tax at 1200, shot of windcreen disc shows it's tax exempt and expiry 04, 21

    I'd be planning on commercial tax ,(have herd no. letter from dept etc)

    1. would i have any issues in changing to goods

    2. would the present 'exempt' tax cover transfer to new owner

    I cannot answer no.1 but no 2. If you don't qualify for the same exemption then I'd imagine that the tax exemption would become null and void once you become the new registered owner.
