Roof leaking, wet plaster slabs, an issue?

    Just looking for some advice.
Building an extension. The roofer was slow coming back, the plasterer put up the slabs on the ceiling, rained over the weekend so the water leaked down into the timbers and the plaster slabs.
The builder doesn’t seem to think it’s an issue and wants to drive on with the slabbing. The plasterers explained that their stuff won’t crack later on.I’ve had a few ‘auld lads’ look at it and all have said the slabs need to be taken down and get all damp removed ( roofer is here today to finish). Then once it’s dry fire away with the slabbing and plasterwork.

I’m leaning toward the second option. Just looking for advice?

    Finish the roof first.
If theres sufficient ventilation in the roofspace....
    What kind of insulation.
    Is it wet..

Roof finished yesterday. I left the door open to allow some air to circulate.
They’re thick insulated slabs. The ‘foil’ side of the insulation is just under the roof ‘covering’ ( can’t think of the name of the material ‘
The water was going through the slabs and dripping into the floor
