Bump out extension wall-see pictures

This kitchen is a really awkward space because of the door. What would be involved in pushing the door out to meet the wall. And then removing the piece of wall jutting into the kitchen.

Would they be big structural issues to deal with?

You need an engineer or builder on site to check what’s happening. But it looks straight forward.

But

I think you should employ an arch to take an over view of the house and figure out what a best for you, as the kitchen may have more ‘potential to unlock’ than just the door position.

Thanks yeah this is the only area that we have an issue with although the kitchen is small. My idea was just to have cupboards along the back wall and built in double oven unit where the back door is.

Trying to get a builder to come and look and let us know what kind of structural issues there might be has been hard with lockdown
