Hurleys are just so good now as well, they're almost like golf clubs with the level of engineering that goes into them with a great sweet spot on them. The standardized sliothar was 1 of the best improvements in the game

That’s it. Technology and equipment is always evolving. But pitch length is same so issues are arising

When lads are breaking hurls just hitting a sliothar you know its hard and heavy enough. We're expecting lads to catch these things moving at 100km/h and to take one to the body on occasion. I'd take a few extra points ahead of regular broken fingers or serious damage from a sliothar to the body or neck.
