Well this is going to be a tough week! 5 stages in a row over 200km (I'm counting the stage to Sestriere as it's 198km :pac:) and just a few hills to be climbed over that period - it's an absolute beast of a final week.

Today's stage starts with a Category 2 after just 18km, with 5 Cat 3s and a nice ramp up to the finish to boot. It might not be a day for the sprinters!

The day has breakaway written all over it, with the challenges upcoming for the rest of the week likely to keep the GC contenders at bay.

It's got an interesting finale which I can't do proper justice to without just quoting the below. Ouch.
These roads lead into the finishing circuit, which is covered three times. There are two climbs on it, the first very short indeed up to the Castello di Susans, and the second much more testing as it climbs Monte di Ragogna, which averages 10.4 per cent over 2.8 kilometres and briefly touches 16 per cent.

The finale features one last sting, a 20-per-cent ramp in the final kilometre as the road rises into the heart of San Daniele del Friuli. It’s followed by a short drop and a sharp right turn towards the finish, which sits at the top of yet another short but steep rise.

Vuelta coverage not until 13:55 I think.

We are spoilt with 2 GTs this week and both looks like they will have drama

I think Dan Martin will do well

and Sam Bennett with the few sprint stages there are at the Vuelta

I had Gaviria and Kruijswijk on my Velogames team. Do I need to self isolate?

The moto is really up Tratnik's arse on that descent! Feels uncomfortably close at the corners.

Jesus, Rob Hatch is acting like if O'connor won the team would be saved. Its not a freaking Disney movie.

Also made it sound like it will be O'Connor's fault if they're not saved

Disappointed for O'Connor, particularly as I was listening to The Cycling Podcast NTT KM0 at lunch!
