Wood fire oven in the back garden regulations

I'm thinking to buy a professional wood fire oven and put it in my back garden beside a single story the extension, so I'm thinking of running the chimney on the extension wall.

The question is, are there regulations like hight, distance, etc... to look at? Should I ask for planning permission? I'm in a semidetached house and I don't want upset my neighbours...

Thanks in advance for any help.
