My wife is due in January and was full employed all through the past several years up to lockdown of this year where she went onto PUP payment. She came off this to go back working self employed and is now on job seekers too. Will she get maternity benefit in January even though she is technically unemployed. Person in social said she might not. She has full PRSI contributions up to Sep this year and several years before.
