Should I tax my car before selling?

I have a 2009 Opel Corsa that I'll be looking for a quick sale for within the next few months as I'm moving abroad in January.

The tax is out by one month, would it be advisable to tax the car before selling? I don't want to put too much money into it if I'm selling it, but I expect people will be more likely to buy a taxed (and NCT'd) car.

Just wondering what people would suggest?

    Thank you.

You never really get the value of tax back in the sale.

That said if you want to do test drives then it should be taxed. 3 months tax is probably cheap on a Corsa?

Cheap enough but I'm trying to save money at the moment as I'm moving. Thanks for the advice!

If I was buying a car and the owner let the tax lapse, I would assume they are a misery guts and would think twice about the purchase.
What else has he scrimped on - service, oil, basic maintenance?
