Some great racing today. Surely worthy of a daily thread on here.
Doubling Dice (4.10 Newm) will be carrying some of my cash (EW).
Tentative bet on Paris Dixie (2.45 Chepstow) who I got a little info for but wouldn't be sure how reliable it is.

Busy days racing with a lot of horses I think will win. I'll be mixing the 5 win bets in a lot of folds and doubles/trebles etc.. and backing to win also. Hopefully substantial money will be made today, the racing looks honest and decent.

12.45 Newmarket, Haija. I don't think the horse will win today, very short in price. Lay bet for me, laying around 11/8 - 6/4

1.00 York, Prince Of Abington. Can't see the horse being in the mix at all. I don't think it will be placed. Laying 3 places at around 2/1. I'll keep laying as far as 11/4.

1.15 Newmarket, Nebulosa, around 2/1. Backed to win. Not much in the race and Murphy should get the horse home in front.

1.45 Downpatrick, Tullybeg, horse is around even money - 10/11 and I think the horse will win easy. It's drifting big time but I wouldn't worry about the drift when the market is not liquid

1.50 Newmarket, Method, horse is around 2/1 -15/8 and I think it will win. Looks like it should be a quick double for Murphy.

2.52 Downpatrick, Farceur Du Large, horse is around 2/1 and again I think it will win.

3.10 York, Cottam Lane. 7/4 in places. I've backed the horse to win. My best bet of the day.

    Newmarket
4.10 Galata Bridge and Iffraaz , both ew.

    Chepstow
4.25 Worth having a fiver on Numbers Man. This thing really could be anything. First foal related to Samcro, MasteroftheHall and Pairofbrowneyes

Dire racing at dundalk and kempton this evening. With that said, I think there is a few bob to be made.

7pm Dundalk, Trading point. I don't think the horse will be in the first 3. Laying 3 places @ around 9/4'ish give or take.

7.15 Kempton, Gavi Di Gavi, horse is between 3/1 and 9/4 and seems to be a gamble going down on the horse, but I don't like it. Lay bet for me, can't see it winning the race.

    7.30 Dundalk, Mccabe, I don't give the horse a chance at all. Laying 3 places @ around/between 3/1 and 9/2

7.45 Kempton, Goldie Hawk, I don't think the horse will be in the first 3. Laying 3 places @ around 6/4'ish

Dire racing but a few bets to finish off the day.

    Aftersliming slimeball

    Be nice.

I know you love me really.

After timing only counts when chunts do it. :)

Apologies to everyone involved. I hope no kitchen tables were unnecessarily bitten during my particular piece of luck.

Do you reckon Dr Lambe will get a win tomorrow?

When it rains it pours. I've been watching horse racing for about 40years and it's the first time that I ever came across 2 horse running in the same race under the others names and jockeys.

That's a biblical sized mistake. Aidan would want to get a bit of a grip on things, Joseph is outshining him and he isn't a wet day into the training game.

Would Newmarket not scan the horses coming into the parade ring?
Two boo boos from Ballydoyle in a week - horses eating banned stuff, and horses impersonating each other.
What next? Flying a horse to the Breeders Cup that should be going to Gowran.

They flew poor Seamie to Venice this morning - had to get Frankie to step in when realised their mistake!

No racecourse scans runners on the way into the parade ring. Into the stable yard yes not the ring.
I guess you are speaking tongue in cheek but the Gain feed thing is hardly Aidan s fault. The mix up he is saying it was because he has a whole separate team based in England this year who wouldn't know the stables runners as they aren't on the gallops at home etc. If he's going to keep the satelite thing going and be having multiple runners he'd better get the lads in the UK in line

BHA missed FOUR opportunities to spot wrong horses ran in two races at Southwell: 'This was a comedy of errors but is not in any sense funny'
1 February 2018 "The BHA had supposedly tightened up procedures after that incident but has now pledged to make additional changes to their scanning system which will throw up an alert if a wrong horse is presented for a race."

    BHA Rules of Racing
DUTY TO CHECK IDENTITY OF A HORSE
The BHA may check the identity of a horse at any time, and the Responsible Person must ensure that the correct horse is presented on each occasion.

Nice and loose by the BHA.
Nothing in their rules about when they check the microchip, or even if they will check the microchip, but the trainer is responsible anyway.
