I'm looking at a dodge journey 2010 2l diesel manual gearbox 120k miles. Going by reviews the petrol automatics are a disaster anyone with a diesel that can shed a bit of light on them? I know it has a VW engine.

There’s an 09 one in Dublin for half the price.
I know someone that had a Dodge Nitro and they had awful trouble getting parts for it.
I’d be very hesitant unless it was dirt cheap and you were happy to cut your losses if something went wrong.

The one in Dublin has an expired nct since April, he won’t have a hope in hell if getting 3k for it old tax rate also. The one in Cork is way over priced and is there a long time. Realistically you’d want to be buying them for 1k or less and if anything major went wrong scrap it.
