Smoked Coley 1 day past use by

    Hi,

    I have some smoked coley with a use by date of today, wondering if it would be OK to eat tomorrow? It's the type that is in the shrink wrapped plastic and it's been in the fridge since I got it at the weekend. I hate wasting food so just checking before I bin it, given that it's smoked ?

    Mod note: Food safety is not allowed on this forum. We can’t see, smell or feel the fish. Generally, ‘Use by’ dates are fairly fixed, while ‘Best Before’ dates allow more flexibility. Long story short, if you can’t make the judgement yourself, strangers on the internet definitely can’t!
