I am not posting anonymously but seek in vain a forum to ask my question. Please if you are a moderator be tolerant,do not ask me to get services of a solicitor as I am unable to do so. I have already visited the Citizens Information. You see there is a legal furum here but it says it is only for law students. This is also a personal issue and as my years and life slip by I THINK I AM HATED AND NOBODY WILL HELP ME. The problem is some school kids seeing me in a wheelchair in Smithfield Square DUBLIN Suggested a personal injury lawyer after release from hospital in May 2019. One was obtained and said the injury as reported by the GP report to PIAB was serious enougn for PIAB to ask their own doctor to inter view me before payout. There was a pause due to COVID the lawyer holding his silence. I phone and he says the person identified by the GARDA denies hitting me. He says I must sign a different document for MIBI summons of anomymous driver hit and run. Six months and he just keeps saying he will have me sign it. It turns out a lady barrister at Irelabd bar hit me and has been named by garda as a hit and run abd my lawyer wants to (possibly) dump case and not expose a colleague for a mistake. The garda are not help ful but said they never accuse unless they have a license plate as evidence. I am under the Dublin Regulation he says makes no difference under the law and 62 a heart patient. I would like the lady barrister to admit responsibility as my fleeting impression matches her picture

    Mod Note

Thank you for your post Tahoma1. Whilst I appreciate what you say, your issue does appear to be more suited to Legal Discussion as opposed to Personal Issues.

I'm going to move your thread there (it is not just for students) and if appropriate the mods will open it up there. You might bear in mind however that they cannot give legal advice.

    Thanks

    HS
