Anybody have experience with these easy fit split glue CV boots. Found one of my boots has a split, I found it early with very little grease loss and no clicking.. I'm pretty handy, do my own brakes etc..so no problem fitting this product/boot. Any advice?

I disagree- I’ve used them in the past successfully- get it in a motorfactors not online - you need to be tasty doing them and get no grease on the boot joint whatsoever. Good tip is to wrap the shaft and Cv joint in cling film after you’ve cleaned them, have your boot cut to the right diameter at both ends then go for it. Second pair of hands be handy. Wear good fitting gloves or you’ll stick your skin to it, but make sure the gloves are a good enough fit not to reduce your dexterity!!

So negative.. apparently they are not shíte, they are a good quality rubber boot(not stretchy)I know they're only as good as the glue joint, but seen 2 videos and yir man couldn't pull them apart after 20 min's....I'll just keep an eye on it. I haven't the time to leave the car a whole day with mechanic. If it doesn't last then I'll hit the garage. Would they last 1 year at least!?

I see a few lads 'fidgeiting' when they are glueing the joint..am thinking of putting glue in the first inch of the recess and then slip it carefully over the shaft and thennnn hold the joint together until it's set. So I'll glue the first part up away from the hub and shaft everything.. sounds like a plan eyyyyy

They will last as long as a regular one if you do it right.
