Sky Sports Mobile TV app

    Sorry cant see anywhere else more suited to this.... (and have been trying Sky on all their contact options)

    I initially had a 6 month subscription to one of the Sky Sports packages through Vodafone Ireland and then I was paying monthly through Google before I cancelled (only finished up on 24th August last month). Now I want to resubscribe but no matter what I try through the app on my phone I cant get it running again.

    It keeps telling me to contact Vodafone to resubscribe. I have contacted Vodafone twice and they said there is nothing at their end holding them to the app and I have fully unsubscribed from then (it was working through google for a while so I'd believe them on that)

    I have tried deleting all data within the app and uninstalling the app (then reboot) then reinstalling the app but it keeps pointing me back to VF when I try re-subscribe.

    I have created a new ID under a different email address but the same issue comes up when I go to the "My Account" section in the app.

    If I sign out I can see the option for signing up to either of the two packages but I have to sign-in to subscribe and it doesn’t matter if I use my old ID under the first email or the new ID under the 2nd email I used

    When I try to watch a channel I get the 3 options

    1 Sign in or Buy Subscription
    2 Restore my Google Play Subscription
    3 I subscribe to Mobile TV via Vodafone

    Pressing option 1 gives me the problem above where I go into a loop of logging in and then been told to go to VF.
    Pressing option 2 (which I believe to be the correct way) does nothing. I get no errors and nothing happens either.
    Option 3 is not a runner as VF don’t do the mobile tv anymore.

    My phone is a Samsung S10 running Android Version 10

    As I said I have tried deinstalling the app and any data I can find linked to it. I have deinstalled any Sky related app on the phone (My Sky, Sky go etc) but they all relate to the Sky box account in my wifes name so shouldn’t have any effect but I got rid of them anyway.
