TV licence

Hi, Does anyone know the waiting time to receive a TV licence when applying for one under household benefits package. This person is on disability allowance and is in the process of moving into an apartment on their own. Many thanks.

Do you mean a physical license? I've never received one, ever.

Mine came with the letter confirming I had been approved for the HBP. It was not really a licence more a letter confirming I’m entitled to it should someone ask to see a licence.

It takes approx 4 to 6 weeks ,and comes in the form of a letter that you keep to show that your licience is covered at that address.at the same time as the letter of approval of Household Benifits ,in my own experience.
