    hi all,

We are looking to buy in Hunters Court in ballycullen and have been advised by a surveyor to test for pyrite. The house is 18years old and has no physical signs of pyrite.

Looking for advice if anyone knows of pyrite problems in this estate or estates beside it and also a 2nd opinion on doing this test. Pyrite supposedly can take up to 10 years to show so am a bit conflicted on whether we should do this if there are no signs.

    Thanks a mill
