Small automatic car - budget €7k

I asked a similar question last year but its now rather urgent and the criteria has changed a bit. I need a small automatic for an elderly relative, but none of those awful "automated manual" gearboxes please. A old fashioned torque convertor or CVT is what's needed here.

No trade in and a max of €7k to spend. Needs the following:

Automatic gearbox (CVT or torque convertor)
Reliability is key but ideally also cheap to fix

It will be maintained by a local back street mechanic who doesn't like anything too fancy/rare and parts must be readily available and cheap.

I think a shortlist includes these:
    • Toyota Yaris/Vitz
    • Nissan Note
    • Hyundai i10 - favoured by the mechanic
    • Kia Picanto - same as the i10?
    • NIssan Micra

I've found this Toyota Vitz locally:

Anything of concern with a Vitz rather than a Yaris (radio, parts, etc). I think they've a CVT gearbox, am I correct?

Yaris has the awful awfulmated manual, Vitz is CVT.

I’d have the Hyundai i10 or i20 or Kia Picanto though.

We've had two torque converter i10s in the extended family. Both deeply loved by their elderly owners and both faultless over the years. They're cheap to run and maintain and very easy to drive and park. I'm not a fan of the brand overall but I would recommend the i10
