Airbag light on dash

Hi all, I've a 2008 seat leon petrol and I needed to change the battery as it was dead due to not driving it for 2 months. Now I'm getting an airbag light on the dash. I presume this would be an automatic failure for an nct thats due in a weeks time. Any easy way to remove this light? Also if not any idea on price to reset this and where to bring it. I'm in the Cork area.

    Thanks

With any luck it will just need to be reset. Any of the indies with a code reader should do it. I've heard good reports of Fermoy Garage in yes, Fermoy.

Disconnecting the battery for a minute or so will reset it, if a fault still exists it will eventually appear again.

If it's a 3 door have a look under the seats to see if an airbag cable has become disconnected.

Ill try disconnecting the battery. I did clean the car around the same time as I changed the battery and would have shifted the seats back and forward.
