Purchase a breathalyser

Bumping an old thread. Hope that is OK?

For peace of mind I would like to purchase a breathalyzer for driving the day after consuming alcohol. Has anyone purchased one they can recommend?

You can purchase single use disposable breathalysers (qualitative not quantitative) in boots for less than €2 each.

You inflate a bag with with one puff and then squeeze that breath through a tube filled with stones.

If the stones change colour, alcohol is present. I keep a stash in my glovebox.

A calibrated Garda style breathalyser would cost hundreds.

Agree with this, used this after a wedding the following day and wanted to make sure i was ok to drive. You blow into the bag and if it detects alcohol in your breath it goes green.
