Have a section of lawn were clearing off for wildflower effect

Looking there at Mr Middleton mix, it says hardy and can be planted Sept-oct or March April.

What do other folk do ??

Would he push ahead and plant now ??

You can sow until it's clearly too cold for germination which this being Ireland can be pretty late, you certainly have September and most of October maybe longer to prepare and tread those seeds into the soil. It's exactly what I'm preparing for right now (mow, rake mow, rake mow, rake and then scarify with hand tools)
