No it was a Firebird but the Camaro of that era was a beauty too.

I've always felt that the design of the rear end of the Jag XJ220 looked very like that!

The Wraith - made me think of another Charlie Sheen film from the mid eighties - film is The Boys Next Door where a fuselage Roadrunner is heavily featured

Warning: controversial language and action in this scene and in the film generally with lots of violence and murders and a great soundtrack - a must see!

It was a Firebird Formula disguised to look like a Firebird Esprit.

To look the part of an Esprit, a Formula would have its rear spoiler removed and its scooped hood replaced with a plain Esprit hood. The show bought three Firebirds each season. James Garner didn’t like the styling of the 1979 Firebird, so ’78s were used until the show ended its run in 1980.

For me, and I'm surprised not to have seen it here already, it's got to be the 1956 Jaguar XK 140 in "Cruel Intentions"

(just found out while posting it that the car used in the movie was actually a replica)

    I'm biased...

I have the 2 main cars in the below clip, in their respective colours, because of this film I first saw in 2003

I'm not a huge fan of the muscle cars but the pickup trucks are all cool as hell in that movie.

Also has what is probably my favourite soundtrack opening to a movie of all time - straight in with Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith

Here's O'Bannion getting into his car after being painted:

That's a kit car I'd say, the front end (height, track and those big lower control arms) is all wrong.

Loads of American cars popping up but that's to be expected since most of the movies we watch are American.

The Ferrari 250GT California that @RobAmerc mentioned is one I wouldn't mind having. Even though the car in the movie is a replica built on a Ford chassis.

BMW 503, in 'The Last Run', with George C. Scott.

As much for the sequence where he's working on it, as for the car chase.
