    Hi all,

Looking to upgrade my car and any advice you have I would really appreciate.

I have about MAX €15000 and looking for a car that would suit a 10km drive to and from work with regular long weekend spins.

I saw a 2016 Mazda 3 1.5 D 105PS PLATINUM IPM 4DR for €13,000, 125,000km on CarZone which I thought was good value. I can't post any links as I am too new to Boards but you can google it handy enough.

I have been driving a Mazda 2 for years and I am looking for something bigger.

I am based in Dublin but willing to travel if I found something good.

    Thanks in advance!

Every weekend I would do a 200km round trip.

Mazda not reliable anymore after ford took them over for few years
Check fuel economy As one I rented. Used a lot of petrol
You could. Buy a new small Toyota with trade in for that price

If buying used get a 3 year old car it still should have it's warranty

That's good to know. My current mazda has been so reliable which is why I had been looking at them again.

The 1.5 diesel is supposed to be very good.

My husband knows a lot about cars and I am hoping to buying in a few months time, my budget is 15,000 with a bit of flexibility. These are the vehicles im looking at. Mercedes E200, BMW 3 series, Lexus GS, BMW X1. some of them obviously will be a four or five years old, but fantastic for a long spin, reliable, bit of luxury thrown in. All automatic.

Thank you for your reply. You have given me a lot of food for thought actually. I was thinking of max five years old and after driving the same car for 13 years I have definitely outgrown it and looking for a bit of luxury.
