    Hi BOI

Is it possible to completely suspend payments into a Goalsaver A/c but still keep the Account.  I have reached the €15,000 threshold for the higher interest rate so little point in contributing more.

Your terms and conditions are silent on this issue.

    Many thanks

    Hi 1Dave123,

Thanks for checking this with us today on Boards.ie.

With a Goalsaver account, as these would be a regular savings account, you would need to have a monthly direct debit going in to the account in order to keep it open. You can certainly reduce the amount of your direct to €20 per month. This can be done by logging in on 365online.com and selecting "service desk" > "ask a question". One of our colleagues will be happy to amend this for you.

We hope this information helps. Feel free to get back in touch if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks,
    Richard
