    You can "prove" that pretty much anywhere is a kip if you make the type of sweeping generalisations about it that this thread is comprised of.

    Original ideas? Original ideas seem to be anathema to the US at the moment. Anything that seems like science, any idea that was not in the original Constitution, anything that does not fit into the 'American as apple pie' idea (bearing in mind that apple pie was imported by immigrants) is 'Communism' or 'Socialism'.

    Abilities? Such as?

    The obvious one is the Tech industry. Europe has no equivalent. I'm not mad about it, or the States, but denying the dynamism of both is churlish.
