Kitten annoying older cat

Hi, we have recently brought a kitten into the house already homing a 10 year old cat. She will not give him a minutes peace from play fighting and chasing. It is annoying him and he just growls and runs off leading to her chasing him.

Is there a way to put a stop to this (other than getting rid of either cat)?

They will settle down after a while. The older cat will only put up with it for so long before they put manners on the kitten

My 16 year old when the latest little upstart gets too fresh simply boxes his ears! Not doing any damage but gets the message across very effectively. Yes they will sort it.
