Hi - clutching at straws - i have a condition for which there seems to be no cure and its v debilitating - I can no longer work or do the things I love like walking etc..
I have v little support - family live far away and no family of my own and just a few friends who I don't wanna scare off with my tough situation..

How can I find the will to go on, with this pain and debilitation?

Have you been offered any assistance with day to day living, be that an occupational therapist or psychological support? I don't really have any answers for you, i have a chronic acute pain issue though i am still working but it gets me very down at times. I don't have much in the way of hobbies or anything because i need a lot of rest and fatigue is a constant with me.. Hopefully others will have some insight

hi thanks for the reply.. I have just started getting help with the mental health team.. i have become v anxious and depressed as a result of this condition - struggling to accept it - and grieving all the things I cannot do anymore.. will see how things go.. have to get my head sorted if I am to live with this..

Hour by hour and day by day. Not thinking of any further ahead than you have to. Slowly it will get.... do-able...…... and the smallest things will start to mean so much.
