Hi , just wondering which way should the mower be parked when left for the winter(krone easy cut 2800cv) trailed mower . I've been told to leave it in the raised position and also to leave it on the ground in working position. Just wondering what ye do . Thanks

Mower here always left in shed over winter in upright position to save room. Better that way that left flat, out in the elements

Yes indoors is the best . I've a shed for mine 2. But just weather to leave it with the wheels down. R the bed on the ground.

Wouldn't really make any odds, always left them flat on the ground here, or you can put the steel supports on the rams if they are fitted and leave it up.

Once its indoors that's the main thing. I usually spray the bed with oil before its put away for the winter to slow down any rust. You can get a storage kit for Krone mowers so it can be stored in an upright position.

Local contractor has new type mounted krone mowers con and they are doing disastrous mowing in heavy crop ,he said mower bed was tilted down as far as possible .Could it be they are mowing too fast or is this a problem with krone mowers

Bed on ground but have the headstock vertical to save space

It advises in the manual (page attached) to remove the load from the tyres by placing on blocks... Personally I would leave the bed down just to be sure. Once its indoors is all what matters most. For safety I would leave it down. "It can't fall off the ground" as the saying goes!
