Need advice. I'm thinking about buying a late 2016 lexus ISF hybrid with 106,000 miles on it from northern ireland.

Its very high miles, but looking for advice on the battery life.

Anyone know what the max life of a lexus hybrid battery? From what I've been reading can get up to 150k miles before needing to change it out..
What's cost to change in Dublin? And what the max mileage from battery

    Thanks

You can get an extended warranty on the battery once you get it serviced at a lexis main dealer every year.
I wouldn’t be scared of that mileage, my friend has one with more and it’s been fine.
Battery life isn’t solely dependant on mileage done.

    I assume it’s an IS300h F-Sport.

Battery is 15 yrs with lexus now, if you get it serviced every 15k kilometres, you can't just get the hybrid check anymore, you must get the oil service as well

The F Sport spec doesn’t do anything for me, the 18s look silly on it and invariably are kerbed - and the interior feels knackery.

I’d sooner have a Luxury spec, some have the premium nav and heated/cooled electric seats. Makes a nice classy car out of them.

Crazy talk, f sport interior is well classy, 18's do not look silly on them, f sport speedo is nicer.
I have an f sport so perhaps I'm biased

What's the battery life like on your F?
Car I'm interested in has 106k miles on it and it's late 2016 reg, so plenty of usage, hence concern

The battery isn't a worry, they rarely go before they are 12 years old, high mileage cars appear to have less battery issues then low mileage ones from the research I did before I bought.
If it has full service history it will run to 300k with very little problems

I've a 2015 is300H with 100 odd thousand came out of the UK full history.

I wouldn't worry overly about the battery.

I swapped cells in a prius and its a DIY job its even easier to drop the battery from the back of a lexus any good mechanic will be able to do it.

Its DIY possible with the right tools.

If you get the car serviced in Lexus they will give you a certificate for the battery.
