Passed my test yesterday thankfully. So to get my actual physical licence do I need to do the cpc case study test first or can I get my license then do the case study?
Also I'm guessing I need a medical cert either way? Cheers lads.

Do you intend to drive professionally (for a living) is the first thing? If so then you need to do the CPC case studies and multiple choice theory tests, you’ll then sit the show and tell (walk around) CPC exam normally just before the driving test itself. You’ll need a medical done before getting your learner permit, also an eye test from Specsavers or similar opticians.

    It’s all money.

It's kind of been a dream of mine to drive trucks so I said I'll go for it now. I know people say it's a hard job with long hours but the ultimate goal for me is to drive the continent like my grandfather did.
I absolutely love driving and was a van driver for a few years but want to move onto trucks.
So can I test my actual learner permit now with just the theory test certificate or do I need the cpc case studies along with it?

It was mine as well, everyone is different but I regretted it.

The continent is really for those with no or grown up families, not young kids at home.

You can apply for the learner permit once you have the medical, you can do the cpc at a later date but no company will employ you without it
