Form 11 for Pension tax relief?

Earlier this year I claimed tax relief on pension contributions I had made in 2018 and 2019. I was given a refund for 2018 but heard nothing on 2019 contributions.

After following up on this earlier in the week, I was told I need to file a form 11 for my 2019 contributions. Is this normal or a new process now? Previously I just done it via the MyEnquires section on myAccount.

It may be related, but I just this week I registered a ROS account to file a form 11 as I sold some share options last year, perhaps this is why I need to file a form 11 now?

And finally, because I already filed a form 11 online for 2019, is it ok to do this again for the same year?

    Thank you

If you've already filed your form 11 via ROS for 2019, you'll just have to login to ROS and edit it to include tax relief for pension contributions not already relieved.

Grand so, not too bad then.

Is this the standard of way of doing it and should be the way I do it every year?

If you are registered for income tax and required to file a form 11 return each year then yes. Otherwise it's via a form 12 return via MyAccount.
