It already gone past 5m if the amount of illegals and undocumented were factored in, it is 5.05 or 5.1m already, electricity, water usage, housing costs and sim card penetration show this.

Too many people guys. We need a license system where people get approval to have kids and how many. In the interest of sustainability and slowing the acceleration of the Climate Crisis we the people demand that the government do everything in its power to reduce emissions to zero. The Zero Carbon Society can only be achieved by imposing progressive policies that will shape society to fit in with the contours of Mother Earth. namaste.

I agree I really but you aren't going to stop people shagging and popping out babies because they couldn't be arsed to use birth control.

Sterilization of the riff raff would be a good start.

Stupid comment. Remove children’s allowance after the second child. It would be far more effective. Of course we land some families in poverty as a result. It might take a whole generation for the message to get through that the state will not finance your multiple births.

And who who exactley would decide who should have a license?
Do people not already make demands when they vote?
Lets hope your gran kids dont live in this world you wish. Then again maybe you and your family might not pass the requirements to have children.

People need to realise that we need our population to grow so we have young people to pay tax so we can all receive our pensions in the future,

Plus all the others that are under the radar due to a porous border system. Weekly commuters, foreign EU nationals who aren't registered to vote or here on census night, UK retirees (some semi who move regularly between the two countries), EU holiday home owners etc etc. People come and go daily via ferries and down the M1 from the north. The government really has no idea how many people are here and it isn't showing a whole lot of interest in trying to work it out and then be held accountable for why the infrastructure isn't fit for purpose.
