U turn at checkpoint

    I did a u turn near a checkpoint yesterday. I wasnt trying to avoid it but missed the road I wanted to go down so turned. Gards caught up with me and everything checked out. All my discs are up to date etc...so that's all fine and sent me off

    I'm still anxious though as I technically lied by saying I didnt do a u turn it wasnt me. I was a bit nervous as I wasnt sure if doing a u turn is legal or not. I'm just wondering if they are likely to catch up with me again if they saw footage/CCTV and ask further questions.

    Nothing else will be heard.

    Illegal on a continuous white line though or if sign posted.

    Why did you lie to them? Bit of a Stupid move but then again someone who does a U turn in front of a check point isn't all there tbh.
