    Hi folks,

I was recommended to ask you guys your expert advice on this.
I'm looking for a 4K projector for gaming etc.
If it has 3d functionality great but it's not essential.

My old Optima Hd141x is starting to fall apart.

If you've any recommendations for me that would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi mcjmetroid,

    Thanks for the post!

If you're looking for a great 4K upgrade over the Optoma HD141 I would look at the Optoma UHD51! it's a fantastic projector with great brightness and a 500,000:1 contrast ratio!

It also has the option to add 3D in as well but the Colour Management System and HDR support make this one of the best mid range 4K projectors!

Let me know what you think of this option!

    Kind regards

    David

    How about the optoma uhd50?

Compared to the one you linked, I seem to lose the ability to have 3D but that's ok if the price is lower. It seems to everything I want otherwise. Am I missing much else in your opinion?

Another question: I see you have 6 years garuntee but does this include the projector bulb as well?

Thanks for getting back to me mcjmetroid!

The UHD30 is still a fantastic 4K projector, it gives a great picture and to be honest there isn't much support for 3D out there. Any of the 4K Blu Ray players I have looked at don;t support it so you'd mainly be getting the benefit of a much better picture!

Our 6 Year Guarantee wouldn't cover the bulb as this would need to be changed by yourself at the recommended point of expiration!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David
